It’s typically assumed that older workers bring in a heavier salary than younger workers, but to what extent?
Based on the “American Community Survey”, year-round employees are classified as either millennials, GenXers, or baby boomers.

Below is a data map that illustrates the gap between baby boomers (age 52 to 70) and millennial (age 20-35) incomes in every state. In all states, baby boomers brought in a higher annual paycheck than millennials.
