With the holiday season upon us, I would like to take the time to ask that you please take a few minutes out of your busy schedules to possibly give back to our community and help the people that are less fortunate then we are. I am so thankful to have my family and friends, and especially to be able to spend the holidays all together. There are so many people out there who do not have anyone, or find themselves in difficult situations that would really appreciate your kindness. Every year at this time, I buy enough food to feed a family in need and donate it to my local church, homeless shelter, assisted living facility, nursing home or food pantry along with some presents so they have something to look forward to for the holidays. Just knowing I put a smile on someone’s face makes it all worthwhile ! There are so many organizations out there who need your help and are collecting food, presents, and monetary donations to help out families in need. So please, if you can, reach out today and touch someone’s life in a special way, they will truly be grateful!
