Justin is a financial planner specifically working with Physicians from residency through retirement. He was the first advisor in the state of New Jersey to obtain his Certified Student Loan Professional designation and has been dubbed the “Student Loan Wizard” by one of his clients which he is helping to get over $400k of their student loans forgiven. Justin is the author of the upcoming book, “I’m a Doctor, Now What?: The Essential Financial Moves Every Medical Resident Needs to Make” and also serves as the Director of NexGen for the Financial Planning Association of New Jersey.
Gina is a nationally respected healthcare legal specialist who dedicates herself to educating physicians on issues of business transactions and regulatory compliance. In addition to her legal degree, she also holds a Masters of Healthcare Administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She focuses her practice on business law, with a specialization in health care regulatory and transactional matters, along with residential and commercial real estate. She is most recently recognized as a top lawyer in 2022 by New Jersey Super LawyersTM and serves as President of the Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary.

How to best protect your income through disability insurance and why acquiring it your residency will allow you to obtain massive discounts that otherwise would not be available. You'll also hear how to qualify for disability insurance even if you have medical issues via a special RWJ-Rutgers Guaranteed Issue disability insurance program.
Student Loan Update (Justin)
Get an update on the most recent student loan legislation and what you need to do now to take advantage of the PSLF limit waiver coming to an end on October 31, 2022! Also find out what you need to do so that you can get up to $20,000 forgiven now under the special Biden Administration executive order. Finally, looking at how to plan your loans so you can eliminate them with the least amount out of pocket.
Employment Contracts (Gina)
Learn what you should be looking for in your employment contracts and ways you can negotiate more favorable terms. Find out the process that she uses to examine a contract for fairness thoroughness, and legal compliance. She will also examine asset protection from a legal perspective and how to limit your liability using the formation of LLCs or other legal entities.
